- Air splints are designed for fractures, broken, crushed, sprains or burned extremities.
- Air splints are provided to people who need protection and support for painful, swollen, or weak joints and their surrounding structures.
- Immobilizes, cushions, and protects injured limbs so the user can be transported safely & easily.
- The Air Splint are made of a soft and transparent plastic material, that is non-toxic, very resistant and easily adapts to limbs.
- The splints are made of two linings and between them there is a space which can contain the air that enters through a valve.
- Ready to use-inflates in seconds. Application is faster, simpler, and more comfortable than conventional bandaging/splinting techniques.
- The air fills the splint till creating a strong tension that avoids any movement of the limb. The inflatable splints have an outside zip to make the application to the limb easier.
- The inflating/deflating valve is made of a plastic material and is an open/close type valve.
- It is compatible for use with X-ray and MRI devices. (X-Ray & MRI compatible)
- Can be used in combination with any stretcher (0805906, 0805907, 0805910, 0804591, 0804592, 0804593) and or the Head Immobilizer 0805908.
